Harbor & Sage began with my own family's search for assisted living.
After recently moving to Reno to be closer to family, I helped my mother choose a community that appeared warm, professional, and highly recommended. Within weeks, she was injured, and the incident was never reported to me or to the facility's leadership team. I later learned the community did not have the strong track record I believed it did, so I moved her to a safer setting where she recovered well.
That experience showed me how difficult it is for families to find honest, unbiased information when searching for appropriate and safe living arrangements for their family members. I understood how easily polished messaging can shape a choice, and I became a Certified Senior Advisor to help families look deeper.
After a career in marketing for the pharmaceutical industry, I'm focused on what really matters in life: family, caring for loved ones, and competence in times of need and transition. Today, Harbor & Sage helps adult children and spouses ask better questions, understand their options, and make safer, more confident decisions. As a private-pay agency, I work directly for families, not facilities, and my guidance is never based on referral fees or financial relationships.
